Greetings Families:
My name is Kimberly Smith. I am a summa cum laude graduate of Saginaw Valley State University College of Education. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Elementary Teaching. I look forward to being a part of your student’s educational foundation and would like to start our school partnership by sharing these thoughts with you--
You send to the classroom your very best, your pride and joy, your student. In return, I bring a love of learning and an understanding that we are all unique individuals. Together we all have goals and dreams to strive for. My goals as a teacher are for students to develop their faith walk, a lifelong love of learning, consideration and compassion for others, and the knowledge to achieve their goals. Seeing the world through the eyes of our young people is quite an adventure. The progress and changes that occur in our students' lives are amazing. As a parent, teacher, and former Girl Scout Leader I have had many opportunities to be a part of their ever-growing and changing journey.
I and all of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Catholic School staff will be working together to make a positive learning experience for your student. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student and to make the school year one we will all enjoy and remember.
God’s Blessings,
Mrs. Smith
